TbDbDoc 2003
TbDbDoc is document management system affordable to cover needs
of medium and small businesses and yet scalable to cover needs of
largest enterprises. Supported features include:

TbDbDoc Server Limits
TdDbDoc database is theoretically limited to 1,048,516 TB (1 billion
GB). The biggest document database that our client has is 50 GB and
growing. Individual documents are theoretically limited to 2 GB.
Indexing complete document text For full-text indexing, a document must be
less than 16 megabytes (MB) in size and must not
contain more than 256 kilobytes (KB) of filtered text (more then 100
pages). You can put bigger documents in the database, but only their
meta-data (only external fields such as title, subject, keywords, abstract
and author) will be indexed.
Complete documents can be indexed in case of following document types:
- Word (.doc)
- Excel (.xls)
- PowerPoint (.ppt)
- text (.txt)
- web pages (.htm)
You can also store any other document type, but system will be able to
index only meta-data.
Supported Languages
TbDbDoc Server supports management of documents in any language.
Documents can be written using Unicode or any national code page character
set.
The server will index and analyze text using specific language drivers
for following languages:
- English_US
- English_UK
- Chinese_Simplified
- Chinese_Traditional
- Dutch
- French
- German
- Italian
- Japanese
- Korean
- Spanish_Modern
- Swedish_Default
In case when server is deployed in environment where some other
language is needed or in multi-language environment it is recommended to
use language independent full-text driver:
- Neutral (for multi-language support & other languages)
