How to read/access documents that are protected with Windows Right Management

(Free Tip)

To be able to read protected documents, you must first install the Windows Rights Management client in either Word 2003 or Internet Explorer. You will need administrative rights to install this client on your computer and ensure it functions properly.

To install Rights Management Add-on for Internet Explorer download it and allow it to be installed.

To read protected documents in Word 2003, you may be prompted by Word to load Windows Rights Management from Microsoft.

In both cases you will be required to sign in to Microsoft Passport. If you do not have it, you can get it by obtaining mail account from www.Hotmail.com or by registering existing (non-hotmail) mail account on register.passport.com.
