Project: B2B e-Commerce Application for IT Supply Chain organizations

Position Description
The QA Engineer will: 

• Evaluate the design to determine whether the features test properly
• Provide a plan and schedule for testing features
• Devise methods and metrics to use in tracking bugs
• Develop test plans and schedules for running regression and building acceptance tests
• Coordinate with the development team, operations team, and customer support team on quality and user experience improvement
• Manage and train other QA engineers in use of automated test tools
• Train team to reproduce and pinpoint bugs before submitting to the bug tracking system

Qualification Guidelines

• Experience in writing Quality Assurance test plans
• Experience with automated testing tools
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of QA experience including experience in a fast moving startup environment
• Experience designing, testing, developing, and/or implementing complex Internet-based business applications
• Experience with B2B e-Commerce and XML systems

• Coding experience in Windows environments - Visual Basic/Visual Interdev experience preferred
• Strong understanding of QA principles and processes
• Strong functional/technical knowledge of Internet technologies
• Solid understanding of relational database design
• Solid understanding of OO systems
• A computer with high-speed Internet access
• Car and driver's license
